What were the key challenges the client was facing?
Key challenges experienced included:
- Unclear roles and responsibilities, leading to confusion of responsibilities
- A flat organisational structure with limited career pathways for high-performing Team members
- Capability and subject matter expertise gaps limited the effectiveness and consistency of service delivery provided
- Inefficient systems and reporting, including outdated tools, manual reporting and poor governance
- Processes were inefficient due to long completion times and the limited use of automation on repetitive tasks.
What was delivered?
Elevate conducted the review in three stages: first, assessing the current state of the function through stakeholder consultations, document reviews, and benchmarking against similar organisations; second step, summarising findings in a short-form report; and third step, developing a future state roadmap detailing key functions to be delivered, system and process improvements, and required changes including investment and governance considerations.
