What were the key challenges the client was facing?

The specialist function required several new positions to grow its business but faced the following challenges: ​

  • Access to a limited talent pool to recruit specialist skills
  • An operating model and organisational structure that was no longer fit-for-purpose for the expanding organisation ​
  • Inefficient and manual processes and systems that placed constraints on existing capacity
  • High quality technical expertise but variability in strategic leadership capability.​
What was delivered?

Elevate facilitated a series of workshops with the clients leaders to explore and refine its growth ambitions, articulate its key challenges, and identify key priorities moving forward. Elevate then developed a comprehensive Growth Plan and schedule of tasks that detailed the activities required to achieve their growth ambitions.

The Growth Plan provided the client with a practical roadmap to address their immediate capacity constraints and establish sustainable processes and systems to support their growth long-term. This included providing recommendations on streamlining their existing operating model and organisational structure to effectively manage a substantially larger workforce, without sacrificing the quality of its delivery to clients.
