Elevate Management Consulting (Elevate) were engaged by a Tertiary Education provider to assist in developing a Delegations of Authority (DoA) framework. The provider sought to review their legacy models and develop an operationally effective framework that aligned with future-state governance, policy integration, and organisational structure.​

What were the key challenges the client was facing?

There was an absence of a scalable, future-ready framework to support integrated governance and effective operations. As a result, the client required an operationally effective delegations register, integrated into a matrix that clearly defined authority levels by domain and role, providing clarity for all authority holders.​

What was delivered?

Elevate led the project design and delivery of a new DoA Framework for the client. Elevate worked closely with senior stakeholders, including informing and updating the Steering Committee, to review and map existing delegation structures, identify inconsistencies, and develop a wholistic framework aligned to the future-state organisational structure, governance and operational requirements.​

Elevate completed a cross-industry jurisdictional analysis to inform framework design. To ensure long-term sustainability, Elevate developed a set of foundational principles and objectives, covering governance, risk, and delegation management.
