What were the key challenges the client was facing?

The client was managing a change in providers for the Government Agency, involving multiple stakeholders. However, delays in contract negotiations and the absence of key personnel meant the necessary elements to support a smooth provider transition were not in place. As a result, the client faced several key challenges, including:

  • Sub-standard management services once the previous provider ceased operations
  • Significant delays in the migration of public authorities to the incoming provider's management system, including configuration tailored to their needs
  • Limited stakeholder engagement throughout the transition process.
What was delivered?

At the time Elevate was engaged, there was a service provision gap between the outgoing and incoming management providers, which posed a significant risk to business continuity.

In close coordination with the Government Agency and the incoming provider, Elevate effectively identified and implemented a solution to bridge this transition period, successfully mitigating the risk.

Within weeks, in close collaboration with the Government Agency and the incoming provider, Elevate engaged over 40 entities involved in the transition. This support ensured each entity submitted the necessary documentation, which was required to ensure a customised solution.

During the engagement, Elevate developed a range of transition dashboards and planning tools, which could be leveraged for future transitions of similar complexity.
